“Friars Wynd Guest Rooms presents a curious blend of Victorian charm and modern needs, steps away from Stirling's iconic castle. It strikes me as a family-run place with genuine Scottish hospitality, though some past guests have experienced hiccups in service. If you're after a historic base for exploring, with a hearty breakfast and local whisky on hand, it could be just right.”
